In all the hubbub & chaos, we sometimes nearly forget to celebrate the little victories. Here’s a recap of last week’s #monument10k race—and what a beautiful day it was to run! I trained with a goal pace of 8:02 or less… and ran at a pace of 8:02 on the nose. 👌🏃‍♀️‍➡️ More importantly, we reached for & shot past our goal for #teammassey, raising $875 for #masseycancercenter & the good work they do. Congrats to us all!! Included in reel: post-race celebratory froses courtesy @bluebeecider, and no, we didn’t get a chance to escape to the beach—that is The Healing Space, an interactive room in the Adult Outpatient Pavilion equipped with immersive tech including spatial sound & video wall. The Healing Space is open to all patients and their loved ones, as well as staff. It is dedicated to the volunteers who give their time and energy to making hard times and diagnoses a little less hard. 💜💜💜 #runningforacure #milesforcancer #ukropsmonument10k #myrunninglife #latergram #racerecap #thehealingspace #girlsgotgoals

Happy 10k Eve! It’s been a crazy few weeks, but tomorrow the race is run, for better or worse. Here’s a quick glimpse of what training has looked like (I hit all but two workouts.)
